Homochirality Origin

Homochirality Origin is a frontier problem in the ORIG domain.

Biology Core foundational problem ORIG Book VI

Overview

Homochirality – the universal preference for L-amino acids and D-sugars in all terrestrial life – is one of the oldest puzzles in biochemistry and origin-of-life research. The framework derives this universality from the Parity Bridge Theorem: the weak sector’s unique parity violation provides the sole chirality seed, and enantiomeric excess amplification (VI.T42) drives the system to a single handedness.

Detail

The 12-step derivation chain runs from K0-K6 through the τ-generators to ιτ to the weak sector (A-sector, π-generator) to the Parity Bridge to chirality seed to homochirality universality. The result was upgraded from conjectural to tau-effective in Wave R7-A. See the full 12-step derivation for the complete chain.

Result Statement

Homochirality is a structural consequence of weak-sector parity violation. Status: Resolved (tau-effective).
