A Challenge Response reports the program’s current internal stance against a canonical Structural Challenge. It does not imply external verification, scientific consensus, philosophical settlement, or final proof. Read each response together with its evidence route, registry references, verification status, and external-review boundary.

Reading the metaphysics status badges honestly. 24 of 30 metaphysics CRs carry the Structurally constrained badge — the highest concentration in the four-domain matrix. That label is deliberately weaker than "Internally addressed": it means the τ framework offers a structural account, reframing, or material constraint on the problem, not that the problem is settled. The status ladder reads (strongest → weakest): Internally addressed (τ closes the question on its own terms) → Structurally constrained (τ reframes or partially answers; the canonical philosophical formulation remains open) → Partially addressed (τ captures one face of the question, others open) → Further investigation (τ-internal route exists but is incomplete) → External recovery checkpoint (handed back to non-τ method by design). For consciousness, normativity, and the hard ontological questions, "Structurally constrained" is the honest top of the ladder — these are exactly the questions where philosophical traditions disagree on what counts as "settling," and the program does not claim to have ended that disagreement.
