V.T123 — Path integral recovery

Under the chart projection with a Gaussian weight function, the boundary-character sum reduces to the Euclidean path integral Z_tau -> integral D phi_E exp(-S_E[phi_E]) in the continuum limit. The Minkowski path integral is obtained by Wick rotation (analytic continuation) of the readout. The path integral is a readout, not the fundamental object.
