V.R285 — The two relevant directions

The most robust finding of asymptotic safety is that the UV fixed point has approximately two relevant directions. In Category tau, the base tau^1 has two generators: alpha (Gravity, D-sector) and pi (Weak, A-sector). The two relevant directions correspond to base-sector couplings kappa(D;1) and kappa(A;1) satisfying the temporal complement kappa(D)+kappa(A) = 1.
