LQG's four achievements (background independence, area/volume quantization, BH entropy, cosmological bounce) represent forty years of serious non-perturbative quantum gravity research. Any successor framework owes intellectual honesty to explain what LQG got right and why these structural insights emerge as partial projections of the boundary algebra.
