V.R272 — Dualities as structural echoes

From the tau perspective, string theory's dualities are structural echoes of the bipolar decomposition chi_+/chi_- on the lemniscate boundary. T-duality exchanges the two lobes of L; S-duality exchanges chi_+ and chi_-; mirror symmetry exchanges the two sectors of the Epstein zeta on the fiber T^2. Each duality captures one bipolar feature.
