V.R215 — Slow Roll Unnecessary
In orthodox inflation, the slow-roll condition epsilon << 1 constrains the inflaton potential to be flat. In tau, no slow-roll is needed: regime invariance guarantees the same equation governs inflation, and exponential expansion follows from near-saturation boundary characters, not a flat potential.
