V.R122 — The Penrose puzzle

The Penrose puzzle (extraordinarily low gravitational entropy of the early universe) is natural in the tau-decomposition: the gravitational sector was maximally active at early times (absorbing defects at full rate), explaining the low initial gravitational entropy without the Past Hypothesis.
