IV.R92 — Fractional charges are not inputs

In the Standard Model quark charges -1/3 and +2/3 are empirical inputs; in Category tau they are consequences of the ternary eta-circle structure and crossing coupling. The number 1/3 is the reciprocal of the color rank; 2/3 = 1 - 1/3 is its complement.
