IV.R84 — Why π-typed, not η-typed

The strong coupling measures how the C-sector responds to base probes: a purely eta-typed probe sees only the vacuum, while a pi-typed probe enters through the crossing point omega, interacts with the strong vacuum, and returns with a measurable effect.
