IV.R176 — Penrose tilings on the torus

Penrose tilings arise as a special case of incommensurate torus windings: the projection angle is arctan(w_gamma/w_eta), the higher-dimensional lattice is the CR-address lattice Lambda on T^2, and fivefold symmetry emerges when the winding ratio involves the golden ratio.
