A molecule is a graph whose vertices are atomic nuclei and whose edges are covalent bonds weighted by order; chemical reactions are graph transformations --- a rewiring of mode-sharing patterns on T^2, providing a structural (metaphorical-scope) picture of chemistry as fiber-mode combinatorics.
