IV.R139 — Gamma-decay as mode transition

Gamma-decay is the same mechanism as atomic spectral lines: a transition between two winding modes on T^2 with the energy difference carried by a B-sector photon; the only difference is scale (nuclear transitions at ~MeV vs. atomic transitions at ~eV), the structural mechanism being identical.
