IV.P129 — Nuclear force saturation

Nuclear force saturation arises because T^2-winding constraints mediating the residual strong interaction are local: each nucleon's defect bundle has finite angular extent Delta theta ~ iota_tau on the eta-circle, so only ~12 nearest neighbors interact, causing binding energy per nucleon B/A to plateau near 8.8 MeV for large A.
