The second archetype candidate. The mitigation archetype formalizes the structural pattern of covering, protecting, and moderating that follows every boundary-crossing. Where the boundary archetype marks the threshold, the mitigation archetype provides repair. Genesis 3:21 supplies the structural prototype: garments of skin after the opening of eyes—not punishment but protection. The j-closure verification shows that the mitigation pattern is stable under refinement: you cannot refine away the need for mitigation after boundary-crossing. The mitigation archetype is the structural dual of the boundary archetype.
