Chapter 8: The 4+

Page 41 in the printed volume

The 4+1 sector template of Book III is instantiated at enrichment level E₂. The base-fiber geometry of τ³ = τ¹ ×_f T² organizes the five Life sectors: the base generators (α, π) carry the worldline sectors—Persistence (temporal stability) and Agency (spatial motility)—while the fiber generators (γ, η) carry the metabolic sectors—Source (structure production) and Closure (structure recycling). A unique mixed sector on the fiber pair (γ, η), determined by the Consumer Mixer Uniqueness theorem of the relevant chapter, completes the template: the Consumer sector, which acquires structure and energy from other Life. Four primitive sectors plus one mixed sector generate the complete Life-layer structure. Generator Adequacy is proven and the structural exclusion of a fifth primitive sector is established. Biological archetypes—Archaea, Bacteria, Plants, Fungi, Animals—illustrate but do not define the sectors. Eukarya is not a sector; it is carrier technology.
