Mendeleev organised the elements by atomic weight and chemical properties. The modern table organises by electron configuration. The τ-periodic table goes deeper: it organises by T² saturation level of both nucleus and electron cloud, revealing the periodic table not as an empirical catalogue but as a structural consequence of T² quantisation on τ³ = τ¹ ×_f T².
