Chapter 29: The Strong Vacuum and Color Holonomy

The electromagnetic and weak sectors occupy the χ_+-dominant and balanced regions of the spectral page. The strong sector is different: it is χ_–dominant, governed by the η-generator, and its vacuum is non-trivial. Where the photon propagates through a structureless void, the strong vacuum seethes with topological content. This chapter introduces the C-sector—the third force sector on the E₁ page—derives its vacuum coupling κ(C;3) = ι_τ³/(1 - ι_τ), and then unpacks the internal geometry of SU(3): colour as branch index on T², the eight gluons as the SU(3) connection, and colour holonomy as path-ordered parallel transport on the τ³ fiber bundle.
