Chapter 26: The τ-Higgs Mechanism

The 125 GeV resonance discovered at the LHC in 2012 is real. But what IS it? The Standard Model says: a fundamental scalar field that gives mass to everything. Category τ says: a collective excitation of the ω-crossing (γ∩η) at the lemniscate junction. Like a phonon in a crystal—real but not fundamental. No Mexican hat potential is needed. Mass is geometric.
